A client in the U.S  was looking to go into a survey sponsorship arrangement with some landowners at Mopo Ibeju. These landowners prepared a dubious N35,000,000 for the sponsorship budget that actually cost N9,000,000. Their aim was to milk the client dry.

A client of ours who is based in the U.S contacted us that he was looking to go into a survey sponsorship arrangement with some customary landowners at Mopo Ibeju, these landowners in conjunction with the facilitators of the arrangement prepared a budget of around N35,000,000 for the sponsorship. On receiving this information we immediately suspected there was an impending scam which we were determined to uncover.

Having engaged in several sponsorship arrangement on behalf of some of our clients, we used our technical knowledge and numerous contacts within and around the community to uncover the fact that the there was a dispute as to boundaries and ownership of some part of the vast land.

Also, the acclaimed landowners in conjunction with the facilitators were aware of the numerous issues as regards the land and were looking to make a fortune from our client who was obviously very ignorant of what was going on.
Upon this discovery, we immediately advised our client to withdraw from the transaction.
