We saved our client the sum of N28,000,000 from a dubious man who attempted to sell three plots of land behind Monastery Road, Sangotedo. He pretended as if he was the real owner but was just a relative of the actual owner who was asked to look after the property.

We were able to save our client a whooping sum of N28,000,000 from a dubious seller who wanted to sell three plots of land behind the popular Shoprite supermarket at Monastery Road, Sangotedo.

We met with the seller and requested to see his title documents. Initially he informed us that the documents were in possession of his lawyer and the lawyer was not in the country at the moment. We noticed the man was trying to evade certain questions put to him as regards his title documents so we insisted that nothing will be done until those documents are made available to us for sighting.

After much delay and due to the constant evasiveness of the seller, we embarked on a private investigation of the land. We met discreetly with some customary landowners in that area as well as owners of adjoining lands. All these people informed us that, we were able to uncover that the actual owner of the property resides in the United Kingdom and the man our client had been dealing with was a just a relative of the actual owner who was asked to look after the property but was trying to defraud all parties.
